A group of Booth Centre volunteers were invited to accept our Queen's Award for Voluntary Service and treated to a special afternoon tea at Gorton Monastery this week.
Together with Booth Centre CEO, Amanda Croome, the group joined the 21 other voluntary organisations from Greater Manchester in receiving the prestigious award.
The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK. We are delighted to receive this in our 20th anniversary year - a fitting way to thank our volunteers for their continued hard work and commitment.
