Manchester Homelessness Partnership
The Manchester Homelessness Partnership (MHP) is a network of organisations which formed to work together towards the aims and values of the Manchester Homelessness Charter. Our goal is to end homelessness in all its forms in Manchester.
At the heart of the MHP are coproduced Charter values which underpin how we work and the Action Groups that tackle specific challenges that people who are homeless may face. At the Booth Centre we are proud to take a lead role in a number of the action groups, through these groups we are able to bring about strategic change for the benefit of people who are homeless. Read more below about the work completed to deliver minimum standards for emergency accommodation in the city.

Manchester Homelessness Charter
We are proud to be part of the Manchester Homelessness Partnership, a group of organisations and individuals who have worked to create the Manchester Homelessness Charter.
The Charter, launched in May 2016, is a symbol of our mission to end homelessness in our city by uniting people, organisations and businesses with one shared vision. The Charter has been co-created by people experiencing homelessness, and organisations which provide support to overcome their challenges. We call on the citizens of Manchester, the city council, healthcare and other public services, charities, faith groups, businesses and other organisations to adopt the values of this charter; and to implement it through improved working practices, specific pledges and by working together in new ways. Manchester's Emergency Accommodation Minimum Standards
The Booth Centre is proud to work in partnership with organisations from across Manchester to ensure the city has the highest possible standards for emergency accommodation, to help people who are rough sleeping to make the choice to move inside. The launch of the minimum standards marks the outcome of months of significant collaborative efforts of the groups and individuals who collectively form The Manchester Homelessness Partnership. Through the work of the Emergency Accomodation action group chaired by Amanda, Booth Centre CEO, we were able to bring about this positive change.
This is a significant step towards raising awareness of the challenges people face when trying to find suitable accommodation, and ensuring Manchester leads the way in providing people with the safe, secure and dignified surroundings that everyone deserves.
