Donate today to support our growing community
Our committed team is needed now more than ever. Section 21 no-fault evictions reached an all-time high in 2023, with more than 7,400 cases being brought before the courts. Added to this, anyone receiving a positive outcome to their asylum case is served with a 28-day notice to quit. Often without money, resources or enough time to access accommodation, this results in homelessness, adding to the already climbing numbers across the city. These two factors, compounded by the continuing cost-of-living crisis have resulted in an increased footfall at the Booth Centre of 51% compared to this time last year.
Manchester has always been a welcoming and inclusive city, so help keep this much-needed service running. Donate now to make sure Manchester remains a safe and inclusive city for all.
