poverty in Greater MAnchester
poverty in Greater MAnchester
The Booth Centre is back where it all began! On Friday, 22nd November, we'll be sleeping out at the Manchester Cathedral to raise funds, spread awareness, and stand in solidarity with our community. Statement from Deputy CEO, 08/08/24"The Booth Centre welcomes everyone, our inclusive community offers a place to belong, to feel valued and to thrive. We stand opposed to the violence we have seen on the streets of Greater Manchester and UK wide this week. We reaffirm our commitment to working with people of all communities. We continue to work with our partners across Greater Manchester and beyond, to challenge the barriers faced by those impacted by poverty and homelessness.
Together we are stronger." Kate McSweeney Deputy CEO |

ANNOUNCING OUR MARCH APPEAL - There is still so much support needed for people impacted by the lasting impacts of lockdown, cost of living crisis, and regulations meaning people can be evicted from their homes at no fault of their own, or not permitted leave to remain. DONATE TODAY to ensure our services continue, as our staff and volunteers work hard to deliver another bumper year. |
