Taking up work, whether paid or unpaid, or undertaking a full time education or training course, helps to increase people's confidence and self esteem. It integrates people into the community and makes it less likely that they will become homeless again in the future. It also enables people to make a positive contribution to their community and gives them a purpose in life.

We help people to design a personalised strengths-based action plan which identifies their employment goals and how to achieve them. We work to help people become empowered to make positive choices, recognise their strengths and realise a better future.

Our Into Employment package offers people who have newly secured permanent work through our Job Club practical help to sustain that job for the first month.

Our weekly Job Club and Skills sessions offer:
  • 1-1 CV writing support
  • Help to find and complete job applications
  • Access to a range of qualifications
  • Pathways in to specialist training, such as CSCS courses
  • Interview prep
  • Peer advice through sharing experiences of the employment market
  • Direct links to employers and specialist employment programmes
  • Support to access education in the local area
