The Booth Centre is an innovative, award winning advice and activity-based day centre for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The Centre has been operating in Manchester for 25 years and is recognised nationally as a beacon of best practice. It is an inclusive space where people who attend the Centre are centrally involved in the planning, evaluation, and delivery of the service.
Trusts and Foundations Officer
The demand for our service has grown over the last few years and so we are creating a new post of Trusts & Foundations Officer to support our Development Manager to increase levels of fundraised income. This is an exciting opportunity to help the charity to develop new sources of income in this currently under developed income stream. We have set an ambitious target of £450,000 to be raised by the Trusts & Foundations post over the next 3 years.
About you: You are an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of raising substantial funds from Trusts & Foundations. You are self-motivated with excellent skills in researching opportunities, writing compelling applications and developing relationships with funders. You are motivated to make a difference to the lives of people who are homeless or who have been homeless in the past. In return, the charity offers a collaborative, welcoming and supportive culture working with a specialist team who are incredibly passionate and dedicated to tackling homelessness. Salary: £29,636 - 31,371
Pension: 10% contribution
Hours: 40 Hours per week (part time hours will be considered)
Contract: Permanent – Remote & site based working (one to two days a week from Booth Centre)
