How long have you volunteered with the Booth Centre?
6 months.

What do you normally do when you volunteer?
Help where I can, sometimes I'm buttering toast and serving porridge, sometimes I am working front of house taking orders and serving breakfast along with tea and coffee.

What's your favourite thing about volunteering at the Booth Centre?
The staff we work with and the environment we work in is so relaxed, it is a very positive experience.

How has volunteering at the Booth Centre helped you?
What I really like about the Booth Centre is that regardless of anyone's background, whilst they are here, they're free to enjoy themselves and welcomed to lots of different activities that so many join in with.

What would you say to somebody who comes to the Booth Centre who is thinking of volunteering?

Come do it, you will gain confidence and self-esteem. The Booth Centre is always changing and growing. If you want to volunteer for an organisation that provides for its workforce and service users in a warm encouraging environment, it's second to none. They offer growth and mentorship whilst allowing you to be completely yourself, and you are giving your time to a worthwhile charitable cause.
