How long have you volunteered with the Booth Centre?
I have volunteered for two and a half years.

What do you normally do when you volunteer?
I help out in the kitchen and the café. I'm also a Peer Mentor, which means I help people who visit the Centre by showing them round and letting them know what support they can access.

What's your favourite thing about volunteering at the Booth Centre?
I like helping people, and I feel like I'm giving something back as the Booth Centre helped me when I was homeless.

Have any of your perceptions around homelessness changed since volunteering at the Booth Centre?
Not all homeless people are the same. All are in different situations and deserve to be treated with respect.

Any hobbies or interests that you'd like to share?
I'm a very big Liverpool FC fan, and I love Formula One

What would you say to somebody who comes to the Booth Centre who is thinking of volunteering?
Volunteering at the Booth Centre is a fantastic thing to do. You meet all types of great people.
