Co-production has been at the heart of the Booth Centre since we opened in 1995. As we turn 25 we endeavour to reach out and work with more organisations that share our values. We started in Feburary 2020 by hosting our first shared learning event, by 2025 we will have held ten events covering a range of topics with a focus on the central involvement of people who are homeless. We are also producing a series a good practice guides written from the Booth Centre approach. For more information or to get involved in a future event please email email@example.com
Producing Art Together: Thursday 25th February 2021 12-2pm
Co-producing Arts Programmes with people who have experience of homelessness.
We will explore the idea of developing arts programmes which have the full involvement of people who have experience of homelessness. This workshop will look at what’s possible, what the opportunities are, what the barriers are and how these can be overcome. During the workshop the Booth Centre will launch its Arts Programme for 2021/22 and invite people to get involved.
This workshop is aimed at community artists and teachers, arts venues, funders, people who have experience of homelessness and are interested in the arts, homelessness organisations who run or are interested in running art workshops, volunteers who are interested in the arts, anyone who is interested in co-production and any artists who are interested in working with the Booth Centre on our arts programme in the next 12 months.
If you’re interested in getting involved directly with the programme we’re planning at the Booth Centre get in touch with Harriet Harriet@boothcentre.org.uk
