There are lots the things that we urgently need at the centre.  Would you be able to help us with any of them?  If you can help or would like any more information please contact us.

Tinned ham and sugar - our stores of both tinned ham and sugar are running really low. Any donations, however small, would be really welcome.

Biscuits - we have run out of biscuits and they do always cheer up a cup of tea, so if you are able to drop a few packets in when you're passing that would be great.

Books - we have a small library of books which people can take and read.  Have you got any books that you could donate to the centre?  People are particularly keen on crime fiction, thrillers, biographies and local history. As we tend to see more men than women, Mills and Boon are not popular!

A supply of cheese - we currently buy our cheese from a local supermarket and it costs us £30 a week.  Is this something you could fund for us or could you help us find a regular supply of cheese?

Digital camera - would you be able to donate a camera to our photography group?  If you are upgrading your camera we can provide a good home for your old one.

Our milk bill - with all the cups of tea and coffee people drink, plus cereal in the mornings, we get through about 50 litres of milk every week.  Do you know anyone who could provide a free supply of milk for the centre?

Seeds and plants for our allotment - our gardeners would really appreciate any donations of seeds or plants for our garden and allotment, or any tools which you no longer need.

A set of Crown Green Bowls - do you have a set of bowls that you no longer use?  Our bowling group is expanding and could really do with an extra set so they don’t have to share.

Fruit - we try to encourage people to eat more healthily by giving out fruit. However, we don’t have the funds to buy fruit. People particularly like bananas and oranges, as many don’t have very good teeth.  We could use a box of bananas or 200 oranges every week but even a bag of fruit would be greatly appreciated.
