Hello. My name is Chantelle Regan. I am from County Antrim in the North of Ireland, from a small market town called Ballyclare. I am the youngest son of a farmer. My father was a dairy and sheep farmer. He was the third son of army officer. He started farming after he left the army after World War II. He met my mother Elisabeth. She was the youngest daughter of an Irish fisherman. I grew up in a Christian home. My father told me how to paint at the age of 3. I have two brothers – Owen and Michael and two sisters – Patricia and Nowreenn. My father also taught me other skills like fishing, hunting, rope making and how to grow wheat, barley and corn. My mother Elisabeth was a Christian. She taught me how to make butter, jam and to skin a rabbit. When I left school, me and my brother Michael ran the family farm after my father died. My father left me with the sense of fair play and always to be honest, to work hard and how to make my living from the land and how to put back what I took out and always to thank God for what I received. I was very proud of what my dad taught me and the way I live my life now is down to him and my mum. They were great parents. I am lucky to have them. They were what made me how I am today and I will always be grateful to them for teaching me right from wrong and that God love me. He is my rock and friend. God loves all of us. When we are most troubled he is only a prayer way. We can all take great comfort from the holy bible and Jesus life. I can sleep peacefully in knowing that Jesus died for me and I believe that I will be reunited with my family in heaven.
