Here are some examples of companies that help the Centre:

Barclays employees made contact with the Centre in 2009. They arranged for some of their staff to spend the morning in the Centre. Back at the office they applied for an employees charity grant of £500 and made up 100 parcels of socks, hats, gloves, toiletries and chocolates which we gave out as Christmas presents.  In 2010 they applied for another employee charity grant and this time a team spent one of their two allocated community charity days at the Centre.  They put on a buffet lunch as a celebration event - where we gave out certificates and trophies to recognise people's achievements.  It was a great day of fun and enjoyment for everyone.

KPMG got in touch and offered their services. They helped us to design a calendar from the Art Group's work. Using their desktop publishing skills they were able to do a really professional job. The calendar was printed and the group were able to give copies to friends and family, which was a great confidence builder.

GVA Grimley have nominated the Booth Centre as their Charity of the Year for the last few years. Their employees have done all sorts of fundraising events, including entering the Great Manchester Run. They have been able to come and visit the Centre and see what a difference their donations have made.

The Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) have an employee volunteering scheme, Community 5000, which provides staff of all grades the opportunity to volunteer for a local charity which links directly with their customers.  It helps their staff to get to know their customers better, to learn how to support them better and to make a difference to a local charity.  Some of their employees chose to spend a day at the Booth Centre and they've found the experience both interesting and enjoyable.  "We have seen a different side to homeless people and have been able to learn more about why they became homeless and the problems they face. We have been organsing regular collections in the office and have kept in touch since our day at the Centre."
