The Booth Centre runs creative workshops every day for people who visit the centre with experience of homelessness. This year the arts group have formed an Arts Committee who meet regularly to discuss ideas for new projects, research exhibition venues and plan events to showcase their work.
The Booth Centre Arts Committee are delighted to announce they are planning a special exhibition of portraits and biographies this summer at the iconic Manchester Central Library. The idea of the project, entitled ME, was created by the artists after discussions about the invisibility and isolation felt whilst experiencing homelessness.
Please join us on 3rd July at 3pm for a preview launch of ME. You will have the chance to meet the artists, get involved in interactive arts workshops and hear more about the Booth Centre's arts programme.
Exhibition dates: 3rd July to 31st August 2017
Venue: Manchester Central Library, St Peter's Square, Manchester M2 5PD
Thanks to our partners at the Workers' Educational Association (WEA) for their support with this exhibition.
