                                                    Donate goods

By donating goods to the centre you can help us to feed and care for vulnerable homeless people in Manchester.

We are always in need of:
                                                    • Food - including fresh fruit, cheese, biscuits, cakes, tinned goods (ham, corned beef, stewing steak, tuna, custard, rice pudding, vegetables and fruit) and cook-in sauces.
                                                    • Drinks - including tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate and cup-a-soups
                                                    • Toiletries - particularly men's razors, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste
                                                    • Socks, hats and gloves

You can also look at our examples of support.

We also work with Giveacar, who can enable you to donate your car and have the profits donated to the Booth Centre. Giveacar offers a very simple and free service that will help you do this. Every car has a value, whether it’s roadworthy or only good for scrap, and Giveacar is prepared to take yours away - no fee, no fuss. The goal is to raise as much money as possible for the Booth Centre. Give a car is a voluntary, not-for-profit venture that allows you to donate your old car, just as you might donate possessions to a charity shop. To find out more, please visit the Giveacar website at www.giveacar.co.uk

Please note that we cannot accept donations of clothes or furniture as we do not have the space to store them. However, we refer homeless people to the Mustard Tree for these items and they will happily accept your donations too. They can be contacted via www.mustardtree.co.uk

Donations can be delivered to the Centre, Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm (telephone first to let us know you are coming).  You can drive up to our door on Victoria Street and we can help you unload, without having to pay for parking.  At other times things can be left for us in the Cathedral, but please include information about where the donation has come from.
